The 2nd Symposium “Italy meets Asia: Scientific Venue in Kyoto 2014” will be held on April 23rd, 2014 in Kyoto, Japan. The purpose of this Symposium, which will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in Tokyo, the Consulate General of Italy in Osaka, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, Associazione di Amicizia Firenze-Kyoto and Associazione Italo-Giapponese di Osaka, is to have a get-together of selected Guests in order to discuss about how to improve and expand the cultural, scientific and technological cooperation already ongoing between Italy and Asian Countries, with a special focus on Japan. During the Symposium, the “Marco Polo della Scienza Italiana” Award Ceremony will take place.
